Feliz Navidad from Escuela San Francisco!
Feliz Navidad from Escuela San Francisco!
We have had a busy week! Escuela San Francisco hosted a Christmas Festival Tuesday evening. It started at 6pm and they sold food, sang songs, danced and they even had a visit from Santa ladies and elves. Max and his classmates sang and danced. Each class sang and danced to different songs, mostly in Spanish, but the older kids sang Jingle Bells and Sara and I sang along. It was a great night! The school put on a great show and all the kids had so much fun running a muck.

Max, Sara and Sofia had a great time, but Sara and Sofia were asleep by 7:15. We noticed this did not phase the locals as we witnessed a little girl dancing the entire time. Ticos live a later life than we do. We have not figured out how to make our kids take a long nap every day and waking up at the crack of dawn, we are always in bed early. We are trying to practice, but we just cant seem to get the knack of sleeping during the day, siesta style, although it sounds dreamy (sueos)!
Max did not want to leave, but as I said, we had a busy week planned for the end of his school year. His school has a field trip planned to Parque Diversiones and we cant wait to ride some roller coasters. Stay tuned to see pictures and some smiles! Pura Vida!
