Finish City Collage My Choice Collage


Learning Target:  Experiment with filters and color adjustments in Photoshop
Why:  To be able to create your first collage project and see some options Photoshop provides for photo editing

Finish:  City Collage  (see yesterdays blog for directions)
Mrs. B. will show you how to put your pictures in a collage
Post as #citycollage

NEW:  Create one more collage with one more picture of a landscape, person, interesting animal or object
  • Size = Larger than 2MP
  • Repeat the same process with one original picture and three edits
  • Try different filters
  • Explore and experiment!
    • When finished with each edit, save as JPEG files
    • Create another collage:
      • 10" by 10"
      • Use rulers and drag lines to middle
      • Insert JPEG photos
      • Resize and move using CTRL T
      • Use the rectangle selection tool to select excess photo parts and delete
        • Convert collage (save as) a JPEG file
        • Post to Google+   #mychoicecollage

      Review other student work posted to Google+

      • Choose three collages that you really like
      • Click +1 to "Like" their project
      • Add and post a positive comment for at least three students
